Biography
Tirelo David Ramasimong, hails from a small village in central district Botswana named Moiyabana. He holds a Bachelors degree in Environmental Science & Archaeology at University of Botswana. Since he was a young boy, he has always been fond of nature and the world around him, so he became attracted to subjects such as Social Studies and Geography while he was at primary and high school. These subjects played a part in shaping his academic background. He comes from a conservation background because his whole professional career he has worked for a NGO which is conservation oriented and works with communities’ full time. His work mainly addresses environmental issues through conservation and promotion of human wildlife coexistence through community driven projects. Community upliftment and empowerment are integral part to promoting wildlife conservation. Living Landscapes Short Course is a great opportunity to widen my horizons and interact with colleagues from different parts of the world.
