Dr Tapiwa Chatikobo

Biography

Tapiwa Chatikobo holds a PhD in Poverty, Land and Agrarian Studies at the Institute of Poverty, Land and Agrarian Studies (PLAAS) at the University of the Western Cape. His doctoral work has explored the implications of variability and non-equilibrium rangeland dynamics for processes of agrarian
accumulation by different types of livestock owners in the post-land reform landscape in southern Matabeleland, Zimbabwe. He is a post-doctoral fellow at PLAAS where he is currently working with Professor Ian Scoones on the ‘Zimbabwe’s land reform after 25 years’ project.
