Mary Wandia Macharia is a Land Surveyor currently working with National Land Commission, Kenya. She currently holds the position of Deputy Research Director with the main responsibility being to give advisory to the Government on land and use of natural resources though research. She has worked worked as a surveyor with private firms and has a passion of training in Survey, GIS and Remote Sensing. Mary has Doctor of Philosophy in Geomatics & Geospatial Information Science from Dedan Kimathi University of Technology Kenya, she has Msc. Geomatics from Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences and BSc. Surveying from University of Nairobi.
