Lusanda Sinde is a Certificated Natural Scientist (Extension) and a Candidate Professional Agricultural Extension Scientist with strong technical farming, as well as managerial skills. She is a leader and has acquired competence in a broad range of agricultural production practices, logistics and marketing, (developing & interpreting budgets & financial statements) /Agribusiness management, administration and personnel management. Sinde has a good understanding of agricultural development, coordination and facilitation with other developmental role players as well as good project management skills and networking. She also has strong facilitation, training and lecturing skills as well as good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills – more importantly, she is always willing to learn more. She is currently working for the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development as an Agricultural Advisor. She is career-driven and focused individual, having completed Bagri (Hons) in Agricultural Extension and Rural Development at the University of Pretoria, Advanced Diploma in Agricultural Extension (majoring in Plant production and Agricultural Economics and Extension) at the Central University of Technology, National Diploma in Farming Management at Boland College (Crop and Animal Production). She is currently enrolled for a Masters qualification in Agricultural Extension and Rural Development degree at the University of Pretoria.
