Haji Msangi is an assistant lecturer in economics at Sokoine University of Agriculture, Tanzania. His teaching and research centres on agricultural and rural development programmes around land economics and governance, including land tenure systems, land tenure formalization and land use planning. Haji’s other areas of research include smallholder agricultural productivity, agri-food systems and value chains, food and livelihood security and capacity building around the use of big data and tools for research and policies.
