Frank Rutehenda

Frank Rutehenda is an economist specializing in Environmental economics. He has spent 4 years in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning (MINECOFIN)-Rwanda as an Infrastructure Sectors Monitoring officer. He holds a master’s degree in environmental economics and natural resources management and a bachelor degree in International Economics from the University of Rwanda. He has built on his academic foundations with concrete national and international understanding of monitoring, and reporting for results in the environment and natural resources, and Water & Sanitation sectors. He holds different certificates including Inclusive Green Economy in Practice Programme for Senior Civil Servants by Gothenburg Center for Sustainable Development (GMV), University of Gothenburg, Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden in 2020, Environmental Management Systems, Environmental Management, Sustainability & Climate Change, Environmental Management Studies from Alison and Integrated Water Resources Management from Rwanda water resources Board, and Planning for Monitoring and Evaluation obtained from Philanthropy University.  Frank holds a Diploma in Project management and a Diploma in International Finance from Alison online.  He has interdisciplinary skills in the environment, reporting, monitoring and evaluation of government programs and projects. He speaks Kinyarwanda, English, and conversational Swahili.
