
Biography
Caroline Alupo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Fisheries and Aquaculture (honors, second class upper) from Makerere University Kampala. She currently works with Kumi District Local Government, a district in the Eastern part of Uganda as Head of the Fisheries Sub Sector where she has served for seven years. She is self-disciplined and can work under minimum supervision. She loves teamwork and can work in a multicultural environment with sensitivity and respect to diversity. She is deadline oriented and has the ability to organise and present solutions well. The skills she has include fish sampling, grading, fry production and handling, and soft computer skills. Her interests are along the lines of conservation of biodiversity as this in the long run feeds into the natural fish and environmental systems where she operates.
