Biography
Dr. Happiness Moshi is a researcher, climate and Natural Resources at Arusha Climate and Environmental Research Center (ACER)-Aga Khan University. Dr. Moshi holds a PhD in aquatic Environmental Science and Conservation. Her research interest is in environmental and biodiversity conservation, conservation agriculture, ecology, agricultural development, climate resilience food systems within pastoral communities, freshwater and marine ecosystems research, public and environmental health. Dr. Moshi is also a lecturer at University of Dar es Salaam where she lectures on Environmental, biodiversity conservation and Climate related courses. With this role she also supervises and examines Masters and PhD students on their theses.
Before joining AKU-ACER, Happiness was working for Tanzania Fisheries Research Institute as researcher for more than 9 years, where she gained experience in doing interdisciplinary and transformative research in aquatic resources, environmental monitoring and conservation and participated in national and international research programs.
