
He holds a Bachelor of Science dual degree in Economics and Statistics from Egerton University in Kenya and has built on his academic foundations with solid national and international experience in statistical data management- collection, compilation, analysis and dissemination; project coordination and implementation; and monitoring and evaluation.
He is passionate about and has over six years of experience in social statistics, national and international-level monitoring, and reporting for results of environmental and sustainable development programmes/ projects, including in evidence-based approaches for monitoring land governance and tenure security to inform responsive land policies and practices.
He has experience in global projects and data initiatives on land governance and tenure security particularly in Kenya, Rwanda, Tunisia, Iraq and in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Moreover, he is honing skills in land-based financing (leveraging land and property tax revenues to enhance service delivery, reconstruction, citizenship building and sustaining peace) particularly in the context of fragile states such as Somalia and Afghanistan.
Previously, he worked at Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) as a Mapping Assistant.
