Prof Andries du Toit

Andries du Toit is a researcher based at the School of Government at the University of the Western Cape. Before moving to the School of Government, he spent almost thirty years at the Institute for Poverty, Land and Agrarian Studies, where he did extensive research on poverty and inequality in rural South Africa. His current research focus is on statecraft and political belonging in the context of structural inequality
